Valentine’s Day Decorating Traditions
Valentine’s Day is a special holiday for each person and everyone is looking for the unusual way to make this day romantic and remarkable. To create an atmosphere of love you can try different kinds of decoration, which became traditional for Valentine’s Day. Valentine’s Day suggests decorating the house, especially bedroom, decorating a table, if you’re going to have a romantic dinner with your soulmate or spouse, decorating the food you’ll be eating and decorating Valentine’s cards.
Pink is very festive, bright and rich color. Decorate a festive table with accessories in various shades of pink. You can put a white elegant tablecloth on the table and spread pink and red rose petals all over it as well as to place a few vases with lots of tiny roses or carnations in the center of a table and surround them with pink glass candlesticks featuring aroma candles of white color. Don’t forget to decorate the chairs. Each chair can be attached with a big red bow.
The romantic dinner shouldn’t consist of two many dishes. If you want you may prepare some extraordinary dish of mushrooms or salmon for your sweetheart dished up it in the heart-shaped baskets made of dough, a desert of strawberries, pine apples, ice cream, some cakes or fondue put on the heart-shaped saucers and enjoy a glass of red wine.
It’s important not to overdo with the decorations in order to leave some mystery and charm. So there must not be a lot of colorful balloons and hand-made toys, ribbons and garlands all over the house, otherwise it will seem like you’re celebrating some kid’s birthday party.
The only thing you can do to decorate your house is to make the outlines of two hearts of small red balloons and to tie them together as a symbol of two loving hearts that will never fall apart. You can also decorate the curtains with suspended vertical garland made of small paper hearts and a thin ribbon or a thread. Fresh flowers and candles will give the finishing touch to the house decoration.
