One piece I'll never restore

This little table was one of the first pieces of furniture I ever bought. 

I found it long before I ever even thought of restoring furniture.

I'm not sure I could tell you one main reason why this little piece is so important to me. 

I love the detail burned into the top.

I love all the tiny grooves and curves.

I love all the cracks.

I love that no one else wanted it but me. 

I love that despite the fact it's a little weathered, it's still a solid piece. 

It could use a good sanding and some oil, but I'm in love with it the way it is. 

It reminds that we often are good enough just the way we are. :)
